JUNIOR CAMPUS
At Arden there is a place for everyone
Arden Anglican School’s Junior Campus is nestled in the leafy suburb of Beecroft. Our friendly learning community creates an environment where girls and boys are well known and well cared, and feel safe to explore and learn new things.
Large trees shade the many outdoor areas where students enjoy playing games at recess and lunch, building friendships inside and outside the classroom, which often last a lifetime.
Our passionate teachers place an emphasis not only on input and direction, but on facilitation; helping students build the skills to learn how to learn. As our students progress through the Junior years, they become more independent as learners, ready for the transition to the Secondary Campus at the end of Year 6.
Our range of co-curricular activities provide opportunities for students to try new things or develop current interests. Whether they enjoy drama, public speaking, robotics, chess, music or sport, there is something for everyone at Arden.
Community is at the heart of Arden, and we know that the sincere and authentic relationships we build with our students and parents are what makes the Junior Campus such a special place for students to learn and grow. Many alumni return as parents to Arden, wanting their children to experience the same spirit of community of Arden as they did.
Everything we do at Arden is centred around our Christian faith, and we strive to model the care and servant-hearted attitude of Christ. Our caring learning community strives to build both our students’ love of learning and their character, through the School Values of: Courage, Compassion, Hope, Love, Respect and Service.
At Arden there is a place for everyone; student successes, no matter how small, are celebrated. Our Junior students move on to the Secondary Campus knowing they belong and are connected to a caring and inclusive community.
