Pastoral Care

Student Welfare and Pastoral Care encompasses everything that the School community does to meet the personal and social needs of the students and enhance their well being. It involves recognising, valuing and developing each student as a total and unique person in God’s sight and in the context of society. This is consistent with Arden School’s Aims, through aspects of its Vision Statement.

Our School;

  • Reflects its Christian values in the way it cares for the whole person, paying attention to the individual needs of each student.

  • Encourages students to achieve their full potential in all aspects – spiritual, academic, emotional, social and physical.

  • The general community shares the responsibility for the welfare of children and young people and schools, as part of this community, play a fundamental role in this regard – this is a priority for staff at this School. However, Arden recognises that parents and families have the prime responsibility for the welfare of their children.
